A new unit, called vision, helps you reconnect with your environment with the aim of making it less likely to be forgotten. For this method of artistic observation, the visibility of the place or an object is quantified. At the charging station you can charge your vision unit like a living battery by experiencing it. As a battery charges itself with electricity, a person can charge itself with 'vision'. Pavel van Houten investigates how we map our environment with structure and hierarchy. He uses instruments, methods and rituals derived from religious and scientific traditions. In his view, the numerical goes effortlessly together with the mystical or useless.
